How long does the Texas LTC online class take?

Most students finish the online classroom portion in about 4–6 hours depending on pace and review. You can pause and resume anytime.

Is an online Texas LTC class actually allowed?

Yes—Texas allows the classroom portion to be completed online through an approved provider, but you still must complete a separate range proficiency with a Texas Qualified LTC Instructor. See the official Texas DPS training requirements here: Texas DPS training requirements .

Do I still need a range qualification for Texas LTC?

Yes. Texas requires a separate range proficiency with a qualified instructor in addition to the online classroom portion. Source: Texas DPS .

What do I get after I complete the Texas LTC online course?

After completion, you’ll be able to download your LTC-101 training form (certificate) and use it for the next steps in the Texas LTC process.

Can I take the Texas LTC class on my phone?

Yes—our online training is mobile-friendly. Many students complete it on a phone, but a tablet/desktop can be more comfortable for longer sessions.

How do I book the Oklahoma SDA in-person class?
